I grew up in Leicester and trained as an actor at (the much missed) Bretton Hall in Yorkshire, and since then have worked in special and mainstream schools, including nine years as a primary school teacher in Manchester.

 

I've been based in Manchester for 20 years. I've been using drama and applied theatre in educational, heritage and community contexts for over ten years. I'm particularly interested in the role of theatre in achieving social justice and meaningful societal change, and am always up for exploring new ways of working.
